Why does the pupusa revuelta have no beans?
In eastern El Salvador, the traditional recipe for pupusa revuelta is chicharrón and cheese, no beans. That is the recipe we learned and what we serve here. If you prefer pupusa with beans, we also have frijol con queso, frijol con loroco, and other combinations.
When does the $1.75 special apply?
The $1.75 Pupusa Revuelta special applies Monday & Wednesday, 3pm to 8pm. On August Tuesdays (August 4, 11, 18 & 25) the revuelta is $1 — last day August 25, 2026; it will not be extended. Thursdays during the same window, the Pupusa de Frijol con Queso is $1.00, through August 27, 2026. Other pupusas stay at the regular price of $2.99.
Does the special apply to all pupusas?
No. The Pupusa Revuelta is $1.75 on Monday & Wednesday, 3pm to 8pm, and $1 on August Tuesdays (August 4, 11, 18 & 25; last day August 25, 2026). The Pupusa de Frijol con Queso is $1.00 only on Thursdays during the same window, through August 27, 2026. Other pupusas remain at their regular price of $2.99.
Do you have flour masa pupusas?
Yes. The standard masa is corn, as tradition calls for, but we also offer flour masa if you prefer it — the same chicharrón-and-cheese pupusa revuelta, with its curtido and red salsa. Let us know when you place your order.
Can I order pupusas to-go or online?
Yes. Order online or by phone and we make them fresh — each pupusa is patted by hand, one at a time, when your order comes in. Pick up at 11228 Airline Dr Ste A; we are open Monday through Saturday and closed Sundays.
